In creating Baked Bistro that rests in Cape Town’s quiet Bakoven, Zahir Mohamed endeavoured to craft a second home for locals and visitors.
The atmosphere, friendly and warm invites those eager to meet, mingle, sit back and snack in a decidedly welcoming setting.

“Baked Bistro has to resemble me as a person,” says Zahir, a man who considers cooking as a medium for self-expression. “My character has to shine through.”
